🚨 RED ALERT! A WARNING OF DANGER AHEAD!

The Labour Party is increasingly accommodating Islamist political demands. They appear to be increasingly blinded by left-wing socialist ideology, which is influencing its political priorities and direction. The British public should be paying attention.

A government should serve the interests of the British people, protect our national sovereignty and spend taxpayers' money responsibly. Yet we are seeing decisions that raise serious questions about the direction of this government. 🤔

From appeasing Islamist political demands (such as restricting free speech through implementing Islamaphobia laws) to commitments involving EU funding, slavery reparations in the Caribbean and billions of pounds in support for Ukraine. It is economic disaster in my view. The priorities of this government deserve serious scrutiny. Meanwhile, ordinary British people continue to face economic pressures.

What a weak government! Labour must be held accountable. Ideology must never come before the interests of the nation. Britain needs strong leadership, economic responsibility and political courage, not weakness and political appeasement.

Bring on a general election!

But I believe this is also a time for the true Church of Jesus Christ (His ekklesia) to arise and pray. Consider the account of Samson and Delilah in Judges 16.

Delilah was a woman who persistently pressed Samson for the secret of his strength. He was seduced into compromise by someone he trusted, until eventually he succumbed and surrendered the secret of his strength.

His hair was immediately shaved off, and his strength departed. His hair was a sign of his Nazirite consecration to God. Delilah then handed him over to the Philistines, his enemies.

She eventually cried:

“Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”
(Judges 16:20, NIV)

What a powerful warning about the danger of compromise, deception and allowing ourselves to be seduced into surrendering what God has entrusted to us! He has entrusted to us the Gospel. Guard it!

There are parallels worth considering when we look at Britain's political direction and the growing tensions surrounding Israel and the Middle East. The ancient Philistines inhabited the coastal region that included Gaza. However, we must distinguish the ancient Philistines from today's Palestinian population.

I am deeply concerned about the growing hostility towards Israel and the political movements that seek to undermine its right to exist. Israel is God's covenant people, and we must not be silent when antisemitism and hatred towards the Jewish people rise.

The Palestinian cause (which I do not support personally) must never become a justification for terrorism, antisemitism or the destruction of Israel.

In a similar vein, Andy Burnham appears poised to surrender further control to the EU over Britain's ability to deport foreign criminals.

This raises serious questions about Britain's sovereignty, border security and public safety. Why should decisions about removing foreign nationals who commit crimes in our country be constrained by arrangements with the EU? It is ludicrous! It is unacceptable. It is another Brexit betrayal. Another red flag that signals Andy Burnham's weak leadership!

The government's first responsibility should be to protect the British public, uphold the law and keep our streets safe. Foreign criminals who have no right to remain in Britain should be subject to deportation in accordance with the law.

We need stronger borders, accountability and common sense — not policies that risk putting the rights of foreign offenders ahead of the safety of British citizens. Britain's security and sovereignty must come first.

But let me remind you:

JESUS IS THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH!

He has prevailed! He conquered sin, death and the devil. His Kingdom cannot be shaken.

The Church must not be asleep at this critical hour. Do not be duped! We must have discernment, stand for truth, pray for our nation, pray for Israel and refuse to surrender our biblical convictions.

Church, WAKE UP! The enemy is at the door.

Let us arise in prayer, stand in faith and keep our eyes fixed on King Jesus.
