⚔️🔥 5787 — THE YEAR OF THE SWORD OF THE LORD 🔥⚔️
We have entered the Jewish New Year, 5787 — a new season and a time to hear the sound of the Shofar. 📯
The Shofar is a trumpet blast and a wake-up call to the people of God. It is a call to repentance, spiritual awakening and readiness.
⚔️ The Sword of the Lord is the Word of God.
And when God goes before His people, He fights our battles for us.
📯 Hear the sound of the Shofar!
As in the days of Gideon, God can use what looks weak, small or insignificant to bring victory over a powerful enemy.
Gideon was called a mighty warrior even while he was hiding from the Midianites (Judges 6:12). God saw something in Gideon that Gideon could not yet see in himself.
The Lord reduced Gideon’s army so that Israel would know that the victory belonged to God.
Then came the sound of the trumpets, the breaking of the jars and the shouting:
“A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!”
— Judges 7:20
And the Lord threw the enemy camp into confusion.
🔥 God is looking for His Gideons in this hour.
Men and women who will rise with holy boldness.
Men and women who will obey when God says, “Go.”
Men and women who will carry the Word of God as a sword and refuse to bow to fear.
This is not a time to hide in the winepress.
This is a time to arise.
This is a time to take your position.
This is a time to sound the Shofar. 📯
This is a time to let the Lion of Judah roar! 🦁🔥
The battle belongs to the Lord.
⚔️ The Sword of the Lord!
📯 The Sound of the Shofar!
🦁 The Roar of the Lion of Judah!
God will fight your battles. Stand firm, trust Him, and obey His voice.
🔥 Where are the Gideons?
Rise up, mighty warrior!
