π¦ THE LIONS ARE BEING CALLED TO THE BATTLEFIELD OF PRAYER π¬π§
Some Gadites defected to David at his stronghold in the wilderness. They were brave warriors, ready for battle and able to handle the shield and spear. Their faces were the faces of lions, and they were as swift as gazelles in the mountains.
1 Chronicles 12:8 (NIV)
I believe God is calling the lions to the battlefield of prayer—Christian warriors who know how to intercede, stand in spiritual authority and contend for the purposes of God.
π¬π§ The United Kingdom has reached a significant turning point.
We need to pray that this nation will turn back to God and that Jesus Christ will once again be honoured in our homes, churches, communities and nation.
We must stand united in Christ—not in fear, hatred or division, but in faith, courage and righteousness. Jesus is Lord, and He is greater than every power that seeks to oppose His purposes.
Just as the Gadites gathered at David’s stronghold and stood with him in his battles, we too must gather together in prayer and unity, supporting godly leadership and seeking the Lord for our nation.
We need to push back the forces of darkness through prayer, standing firmly for biblical truth and refusing to allow Christianity to be silenced or sidelined.
Think of Esther. She was called to a moment of courage when God's people were facing destruction and total annihilation. She went before the king and interceded on their behalf. In the same way, we are called to go before King Jesus in prayer and cry out for a divine turnaround in this nation.
π Let us pray for the UK:
• That Britain would turn back to God.
• That righteousness and truth would prevail.
• That our government would make wise and just decisions. (That would also mean a change of government altogether through a democratic general election).
• That our borders would be properly controlled and immigration laws fairly enforced.
• That illegal immigration would be brought to an end through lawful and effective action.
• That our communities would be protected and social systems used responsibly and fairly.
• That Christians would rise with courage and compassion rather than retreat in fear.
• That God would raise up leaders who honour Him and serve the people with integrity.
• That the Church would unite in prayer and become a powerful witness for Jesus Christ.
We do not fight people; our battle is spiritual. We stand against darkness through prayer, truth, righteousness and the authority we have in Christ.
π¦ Church, stand to attention.
This is a time to pray.
This is a time to stand.
This is a time to be courageous.
This is a time to seek God for our nation.
Jesus is Lord over the United Kingdom. π¬π§βοΈ
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1
π¦ Lions, arise. Let us stand together in prayer for Britain.
Blessings
Sharon
