FLYING MONKEYS OF NARCISSISTS

Yep, lol 😆. Some flying monkeys can be just as toxic as the narcissist and will do almost anything to please their master. They may even help carry out the narcissist's agenda against others.

I laugh, but narcissistic abuse is no joke. I know about flying monkeys.

The story of Herodias, Salome, and John the Baptist reminds me of how dangerous manipulation, seduction, and the desire to please others can be. Salome danced before Herod Antipas and pleased him so much that he rashly promised to give her whatever she asked for. After consulting her mother, Herodias, she requested the head of John the Baptist on a platter.

John had been imprisoned because he confronted Herod over his unlawful relationship with Herodias, who had been his brother Philip's wife. Because of Herod's pride, lust, and fear of losing face before his guests, John was beheaded in prison.

This account is a sobering reminder that manipulation, seduction, and the influence of toxic people can lead to devastating consequences. Stand for truth, even when it is unpopular, just as John the Baptist did.

Matthew 14:11–12.(NIV)
"His head was brought in on a platter and given to the girl, who carried it to her mother. John’s disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus."
