My Thoughts on the Makerfield By-Election

Andy Burnham says he is bringing hope. But hope for what?

More open borders? More HMOs? More illegal immigration spiralling out of control? That is not the change this country needs.

Politics is not a personality contest. Andy Burnham remains on the left of the political spectrum, which means more of the same policies. Real change will not come from Labour.

That is why I believe Reform needs to win the Greater Manchester mayoralty, and ultimately a General Election. In my view, Labour is taking this country in the wrong direction.

While Labour may appear to be winning now, I see this as preparation for a much bigger breakthrough for Reform in the future. The battle is not over.

Sometimes, to win, you have to wait upon the Lord and allow Him to renew your strength. This may be a waiting season, but waiting is not the same as losing.

"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles..." (Isaiah 40:31)

The eagle masters the wind. It faces the storm. The stronger the wind, the higher the eagle rises. What looks like resistance becomes elevation. The pressure that was meant to break you becomes the force that lifts you.

My encouragement to Reform supporters: keep going. Rise above what others are running from. This storm will not bury you—it can elevate you.

Congratulations on securing second place in Makerfield. Keep pressing forward. Go for it.
