The Spirit Will Be Poured Out

Tomorrow we celebrate the Day of Pentecost. Get filled with the Holy Spirit to do wonders for God. Joel’s prophecy declares:

“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great
and dreadful day of the LORD.
And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved.”
— Joel 2:28–32a

Pentecost reminds us that God still pours out His Spirit today. The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary believers to prophesy, pray with power, walk in bold faith, and reveal Jesus to a lost world. This promise is for sons and daughters, young and old, men and women. God is raising up a Spirit-filled people in this hour.

May fresh fire fall upon the Church again. May hearts awaken, spiritual gifts stir, and many come to salvation through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Revive your church again Lord.

Come fill me up again with your Holy Spirit.
