WHAT IS THE FABIAN SOCIETY

"The Fabian Society is a British socialist think tank and democratic membership organization founded in 1884, committed to advancing equality and social democracy through gradual, non-violent reform. As a key founder of the Labour Party, it remains an affiliated socialist society focusing on research, policy development, and providing a forum for left-leaning debate.

Key details about the Fabian Society:

👇Philosophy: Championing "Fabianism," which believes in long-term, gradual, and empirical reform rather than revolution.

👇Origin: Founded on January 4, 1884, in London, it was named after Roman general Quintus Fabius Maximus, known for his "delaying" tactics.

👇Labour Party Link: The society is one of the original founders of the Labour party in 1900 and remains affiliated.

👇Activities: As a left-leaning think tank, it produces high-quality research, pamphlets, reports, and hosts events.

👇Membership: Comprises over 6,000 members and publishes the Fabian Review." (Wikipedia)

Notice that the Fabian Society is associated with left-wing politics and gradual social reform through incremental change. In other words, change by slow and steady means. Whether one agrees or disagrees, the intended outcome is still significant political transformation.

It is also worth noting that the society takes its name from the Roman general Fabius Maximus, who was known for his delaying and strategic tactics. Hmmmh? 🤔 We have certainly seen that approach play out in politics.

Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, and Peter Mandelson have all been connected with the Fabian Society, with longstanding links over the years.

Mandelson’s appointment as ambassador to the US has raised questions among critics, particularly regarding vetting concerns and whether political connections played a part. Some would call that cronyism at its best.

I will be voting Reform in the May 7 elections, as I believe the UK needs Christian values restored along with common sense leadership. I do not agree with much of the current left-wing direction.

Labour may face a strong challenge at the elections. Probably wiped out.

In my view, the Fabian Society is neither godly nor good.
