Impartation of Lion Courage 🦁

Impartation of Lion courage.

Lion of Judah (Revelation 5:5)

It is time to weep no more, for the Lion of Judah has triumphed! He alone is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. He has won the ultimate victory over sin, death, and hell.

The Lion of Judah is also the Lamb who was slain. Through His sacrifice, He purchased us with His own blood. Now, He rules and reigns in heaven, seated on the throne of glory. Around His throne, the four living creatures bow down in worship, declaring His majesty and worth.

Jesus is both the conquering Lion and the slain Lamb—powerful enough to overcome every enemy and gentle enough to redeem every soul. The victory belongs to Him! 🏆

Teaching:

The Lion of Judah – Our Victorious King

Main Text: Revelation 5:5 – “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

1. The Context of Revelation 5

John, caught up in a heavenly vision, begins to weep because no one is found worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. The scroll represents God’s plan for history and redemption. Without someone worthy, humanity remains bound in sin and hopelessness.

But then the angel declares: “Do not weep! The Lion of the tribe of Judah has triumphed.”

This is the moment hope breaks through despair.

2. The Lion of Judah Has Triumphed

The Lion of Judah is a title that points to Jesus Christ. He is called “Lion” because of His strength, majesty, and authority. He comes from the tribe of Judah, fulfilling Jacob’s prophecy in Genesis 49:9–10: “The scepter will not depart from Judah… until he to whom it belongs shall come, and the obedience of the nations shall be his.”

Jesus is that promised Lion. His victory is complete.

He conquered sin on the cross.

He defeated death by rising again.

He stripped hell of its power.

🏆 The Lion roared in triumph, and no enemy could stand against Him.

3. The Lion is Also the Lamb

What makes Jesus worthy is not just His power but His sacrifice. John turns to look at the Lion—and instead sees a Lamb that was slain (Revelation 5:6).

As the Lamb, He shed His blood to redeem people from every tribe, tongue, and nation (Revelation 5:9).

As the Lion, He reigns forever with all authority in heaven and on earth.

He is both conqueror and redeemer, majesty and mercy, strength and sacrifice.

4. The Worship of Heaven

Around His throne, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fall down before Him in worship (Revelation 5:8–14). They sing a new song:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”

Heaven resounds with worship because the Lion of Judah has won the victory.

5. Application – The Roar in Us

What does this mean for us?

We do not have to live in fear—because the Lion has already triumphed.

We do not have to stay bound—because the Lamb has redeemed us.

We can roar with courage, because His roar lives inside of us.

Proverbs 28:1 says: The righteous are as bold as a lion. His boldness is imparted to us through the Holy Spirit.

6. Impartation & Declaration

Lead participants into prayer:

Prayer:
“Lion of Judah, we honor You. You are the victorious One, the Lamb who was slain and the King who reigns. Today, we receive Your roar of courage. Break every chain of fear and timidity. Let Your boldness rise in us. Fill us with the courage to stand, speak, and take territory for Your Kingdom.”

Declaration:

“I will weep no more—the Lion of Judah has triumphed!”

“The victory of the Lion is my victory.”

“I receive His roar of boldness today.”
